Event Badges

After you register for NIAS you will receive a confirmation Email. Please be sure to bring your  confirmation Email as well as your credentials with you to Mons.

You must present your confirmation email and a valid issued photo ID when collecting your conference badge at Lotto Mons, Avenue Leo Collard (Main entrance).

Event Security

We take security very seriously. Delegates must present their badge and a valid form of government issued ID and pass through security each time they enter Lotto Mons Expo. Security (bag) checks will be conducted upon entering the building. Additional security will be added inside the building. This security is administered by NCI Agency Security staff, Seris Security and the Police Federal.

Please be informed that due to the general security situation we are mandated to implement special security pre-caution measures. These security measures might result in a slight delay at registration. Please note that these pre-cautions are taken with your safety in mind.

Entry

Delegates: Members of NATO Headquarters, NATO Agencies, Partnership for Peace (PfP) countries, the European Union and associated Agencies and members (public and official) from the 29 NATO Nations ONLY. Applications received outside of the aforementioned communities will be reviewed and considered on a case-by-case basis. Delegates are requested to register sufficiently early to ensure participation. For all above mentioned communities NIAS is “Free of Charge”.

Professional representatives of Industry who have a legitimate and valid business reason for attending the NATO Cyber Security Symposium, please only use your Business email address. If your company is not exhibiting at the conference, you are required to purchase a conference pass. Online registration for all registration types is now open. if you are unsure about the registration type, please contact the exhibitor secretariat via the contact form.

Food & Beverages

There will be a variety of food options for purchase at Lotto Mons. The Food concession stands are located in hall 3 . They will offer fresh salads, sandwiches, hot entrees, snacks and beverages.

Stop by the NIAS bar for a cup of coffee, beverage or alcoholic drink. In addition to the central bar, there are several locations to refuel with coffee or to refuel your electronic device.

Attire & Info

Attire for NIAS2019 is business casual, open collar. We would like to advise Military personnel not to wear Military uniforms while traveling to and from Lotto Mons.

If your Nation demands the wear of military attire we advise to change into military uniform at Lotto Mons.

Have a question? Visit the information point located in the exhibition hall. Our event staff are on hand to assist you and provide helpful information throughout the conference. This is also where lost and found is located.

Please note that smoking is prohibited inside Lotto Mons. Please follow the signs to the designated smoking area(s).

Getting there

Delegates traveling by train from Brussels to Mons are advised to use the Mons-Quevy train from Brussels Airport, North, Central or Midi to Mons (Gare du Mons). At the Mons train station you can make use of the FREE service established by TEC Hainaut. From Mons Railway Station, take the D circuit (blue) of the “Mons Intra Muros”. It will take you to the Grand Prés mall next to the conference centre, Monday to Saturday from 7am to 21h.

Delegates traveling by car Follow signs to Bergen/Mons (E19/E42) On E19/E42 to Mons take exit 24. Once you exit the motorway, keep right and follow the signs for Le Grand Pres. Lotto Mons Expo is on your left.Address: Avenue Thomas Edison, 2 B 7000 MONS BELGIUM.
